Use & Safety

Installation: place the cover on the rear bench, loop the straps over both rear headrests and tighten, push the seat anchors into the seat crease, then adjust the front straps over the front headrests for full hammock mode — or leave the front panel down for a simple bench cover. Compatibility limits: designed for standard bench seats with accessible, adjustable headrests. It may not fit split-folding seats you need to fold independently, integrated-headrest sport seats, or vehicles where the seat anchors cannot be reached. It is a protective cover, not a restraint: always secure your dog with a crash-appropriate harness and tether sold for that purpose, and never leave a dog unattended in a vehicle.

Good to Know

Mud management is a system, not a product: the cover is step one, an old towel by the door is step two, and a paw-rinse routine in wet months is step three. With all three, even a farm-visit dog becomes a car dog. Fit the cover on a dry day first, when you are not in a hurry — the anchors behave better, and you will learn whether your bench needs the straps at their longest. After beach trips, shake sand out before it migrates into the anchors. Will it fit my car?

It fits most standard rear bench seats that have adjustable headrests — the straps and anchors adjust to a wide range. Bucket-style rear seats, fixed integrated headrests and some sport seats are the usual exceptions; email us your model before ordering if you are unsure.

Is it really waterproof, or just resistant?

The coated surface is designed to stop wet coats, muddy paws and small spills from reaching your upholstery. Standing liquid left for hours can eventually find seams, so for very wet dogs we suggest a quick towel-off first.

Can passengers still use the seat belts?

Belt access points are provided so rear passengers and dog restraints can be used with the cover fitted. Check the openings line up with your vehicle's buckles after installation and adjust the cover position as needed.
