Foldable Travel Bowl

About the Foldable Travel Bowl

The best travel gear is the gear you forget you are carrying. The Pack-Flat Bowl folds to the size of a coaster, clips to your leash, bag or belt loop, and pops open into a sturdy bowl for water on the trail or dinner at the campsite.

Keep one in the glove box, one on the walking leash and one in the hiking pack. In the muted Kindred Tails palette, it looks at home everywhere from a trailhead to a sidewalk café — most cafés will happily fill it, just ask.

Materials & Care

Flexible food-contact-grade silicone-style bowl body with a polymer rim and metal carabiner. Final material specifications will be confirmed with our supplier and published here before shipping — this listing is part of our launch preview catalogue.

Rinse after use; wash with warm soapy water and air dry. Fold only when dry for storage. Inspect the fold lines periodically and replace the bowl if the material tears or cracks.

Use & Safety

Pop the bowl open by pressing the base outward until the rim locks. Place on a flat surface before filling. After use, rinse, dry and press flat. For cats, the same bowl works for water or meals during travel, boarding stays and vet visits.

Good to Know

The bowl's second career is as household backup: guest dogs, garden water during heatwaves, a kitten's first feeding station, the dish that lives in the car for found strays and borrowed picnic water. Because it folds flat, it also travels in coat pockets on city walks — useful when café water bowls are communal and your dog is fussy, or when a long summer evening out runs past dinner time. Mark yours with a laundry pen on the base if your household has several; they are identical by design, and dog-park mix-ups are a genre of their own.

Pack-Flat Bowl — Questions

Is it stable, or will my dog knock it over?

The wide base and locking rim keep it steady for drinking and eating on flat ground. Enthusiastic eaters may still nudge it — on hard floors, place it against a wall or on a mat for dinner service.

Can I use it for food as well as water?

Yes — it handles dry food, wet food and water. Wash it between food uses, and if you feed raw, follow your usual hygiene routine and wash promptly after meals.

Does it fit in a pocket?

Folded flat, it is about the footprint of a drinks coaster and slips into a jacket pocket, though most owners clip it to the leash and forget it is there.
